In 2009, AutoTEC Automotive Testing and Emission Center, Inc. started its operation as an Alternate Motor Vehicle Inspection Station (AMVIS) and a Private Emission Testing Center (PETC). Located in one of the premiere freeport zones in the country, AutoTEC offers motor vehicles inspection services primarily to vehicle re-manufacturing facilities as a requirement in the vehicle registration process. For years, AutoTEC has been one of the most trusted vehicle testing and emission centers in Olongapo, Zambales and the Bataan area. The company has no recorded violation, a reputation we continuously uphold to this day.

As a seal of quality service, AutoTEC is accredited by the Department of Transportation (DOTr), Land Transportation Office (LTO), and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). Our machines are registered and accredited by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and are calibrated by DTI-accredited service providers to ensure accurate and reliable results. All of our Motor Vehicle Emission Control Technicians and Motor Vehicle Inspection Technicians are holders of the National Certificate on Automotive Servicing given by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and are all authorized by the LTO to perform such services.

In May 2019, AutoTEC was granted authority by the DOTr to construct and operate a Private Motor Vehicle Inspection Center (PMVIC) in Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City; the first and only PMVIC in the said city.

In January 2020, AutoTEC was granted another authority by the DOTr to construct and operate a PMVIC in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Olongapo City, the first and only PMVIC in the whole of Zambales.

Today, AutoTEC continues to offer reliable and quality services through our newly built, state of the art facility which features a testing process with limited human intervention. Our centers house sets of equipment from South Korea and China, all of which are ISO and CE certified. Through these, AutoTEC remains to be committed on to its vision of being a reliable partner of the government and the public in promoting safe roads and thoroughfares in the country.
