AutoTEC provides a clean and fully-airconditioned lounge where customers can relax while waiting for their vehicles to be tested. The lounge is equipped with monitors showing a live feed of the testing process.

Our Procedure

1. Walk-in / Book Online

For walk-in registration, customers will queue their vehicles for pre-inspection. For online registration, customer needs to set an appointment atleast a day before his/her planned visit. Upon successful online registration, the customer has to print or take a screenshot of their confirmed appointment which he/she will present upon arrival at the center.

2. Pre-Inspection

All customers will undergo pre-inspection procedure to ensure that their vehicles can undergo motor vehicle inspection as well as to check whether their documents (Copy of Certificate of Registration and Latest Official Receipt; Notarized Affidavit if the vehicle underwent change in color, engine or body) are complete and correct.

3. Encoding

There are two encoding windows, one for light vehicles and another for motorcycles. Customers need to present a clear copy of their OR/CR to the encoder along with the Pre-Inspection Report and Additional Customer Information Form. A test order will be given to the customer which he/she will present to the cashier for payment.

4. Payment

He/She will present the test order along with the OR/CR and other documents to the cashier and pay necessary amount. If the customer’s vehicle is parked, he/she will also surrender his/her parking number to the cashier. AutoTEC initially accepts cash payment but other payment modes will be provided.

5. Testing

After payment and release of an official receipt, customer proceeds to the customers’ lounge where he/she waits for his/her vehicle to be tested. After all the test, the technician will proceed to the control room to check, submit and print the test result. The MVIT will release the MVISR to the client together with their vehicle keys and other documents; and will explain to the customer any and all failed results and to provide assistance on how to resolved problems with the vehicle. .
